Update for iOS Mobile App Released
Version 1.3.1 has been released. This version adds weather graphics to the iPhone app, improves the nexrad looping on the iPad main chart page and fixes a few bugs in the app.
The iPhone weather graphics can be viewed by selecting the WX Graphics tab on the bottom of the app. From there you will get a general weather graphic category to choose from. You can then dive into a more complete list of the specific weather graphic type that is desired. For example you can select NexRad Radar and then choose Pacific Northwest to see that particular graphic.
Currently there is the ability to look at Surface Graphics, NexRad Graphics, Forecast Charts, Constant Pressure Charts, High/Low Altitude Prog Charts, Winds Aloft Forecast Charts and G-Airmets for the Lower 48 States. For Hawaii there are local Radar and Hawaii Satellite images.
There were certain conditions where the nexrad looping graphics on the iPad charts would miss pieces of the radar charts. This has been reworked to improve the performance and reliability of the display. The nexrad images are now properly shown for the looping graphics.
